3D Modelling
Starting from a variety of sources including hand sketches, diagrams, photographs, 2D CAD files, general arrangement drawings or reverse engineering (scanning) physical parts, we can generate 3D models in SolidWorks, one of the most popular and widely recognised CAD systems.
We have been actively involved in many design & fabrication projects. We have practical experience working with processing and fabrication workshops in the steel industry including sheet metal industries. From our 3D models, we can generate all the fabrication and shop drawings required to manufacture your design.
Drafting
Using SolidWorks and AutoCAD LT we can easily produce clear and concise 2D shop drawings that include steel specification details, BOM and dimensional information for the fabrication of components. We can also generate DXF with the Flat Patterns of the Sheet Metal parts with all the information required to Laser Cut them.
Visualization
We can turn the 3D model into photo-quality images bringing your products to life.
Reverse Engineering / Reengineering
We can organise 3D laser scanning to reverse engineering your part or even reengineering them. We can generate an accurate 3D model of all relevant components scanned which can be used to create shop drawings to manufacture them or send to a third-party Engineering Consultancy for stress analysis.
